For decades archaeologists thought Doon Hill was the site of timber buildings from 600AD. But Ian Ralston found an identical one in Aberdeenshire that was neolithic and set out on a decades-long journey to uncover the truth about Dooh Hill, a journey that had begun when he had dug there as a boy.
